About : ICTechEd 2027
Engineering innovation and high-quality education are fundamental to technological progress, industrial transformation, and sustainable economic development. As emerging technologies continue to reshape industries and societies, closer collaboration among engineers, researchers, educators, and industry practitioners is essential. This collaboration ensures that technological advances translate into meaningful knowledge, practical applications, and the skills the future workforce requires.
Engineers contribute to this transformation by developing technologies, systems, and infrastructure that enhance productivity and quality of life. Educators complement these efforts by developing effective teaching methods, competency frameworks, and knowledge-transfer models that prepare learners and professionals for rapidly evolving technical environments. When engineering research and education advance together, they strengthen innovation capacity, workforce readiness, industrial competitiveness, and inclusive socioeconomic development.
Reflecting this vision, the Faculty of Technical Education at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok is pleased to announce the 14th International Conference on Technical Education (ICTechEd 2027), to be held on 27–28 May 2027. The conference will be co-organized by the IEEE Thailand Section, the Association of Industrial Education (Thailand), and the Faculty of Technical Education at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.
ICTechEd 2027 will provide an international forum for researchers, academics, educators, engineers, industry professionals, and graduate and undergraduate students to present and discuss original research, innovative practices, emerging technologies, and future directions in engineering and engineering education. The conference aims to foster meaningful interdisciplinary exchange and strengthen connections among universities, industry, professional organizations, and the broader research community.
The technical program will encompass two principal areas: Engineering and Engineering Education. Contributions may address theoretical advances, applied research, experimental studies, technological development, educational innovation, industry-based solutions, and interdisciplinary work that connects engineering practice with effective teaching and learning. By participating in ICTechEd 2027, authors and delegates will have opportunities to share their work with an international audience, receive constructive feedback from specialists, exchange perspectives on current challenges, establish research and professional networks, and explore opportunities for future collaboration. The conference particularly welcomes high-quality original contributions that demonstrate technical rigor, practical relevance, educational impact, or the potential to support sustainable technological and societal advancement.
We warmly invite researchers, educators, practitioners, professionals, and students worldwide to submit their original work and join us at ICTechEd 2027. Together, we can advance engineering knowledge, transform technical education, and develop innovative solutions for a more capable, competitive, and sustainable future.
